NASHVILLE, Tenn. (July\u00a016,\u00a02026)\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Nashville Soccer Club announced today it has acquired\u00a0attacker\u00a0Elias Saad on loan from FC Augsburg of the German Bundesliga through the 2027 MLS Sprint Season (February to May) pending receipt of his International Transfer Certificate (ITC) and P-1 Visa. Saad, who started two of Tunisia’s three\u00a0FIFA World Cup 26\u2122\u00a0matches, will occupy an international roster spot.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The 26-year-old has three goals and two assists in 28 career Bundesliga appearances\u00a0for FC\u00a0Augsburg\u00a0(2025-26) and FC St. Pauli (2024-25)\u00a0and\u00a0nine goals and six assists in 50 career\u00a0Bundesliga\u00a02\u00a0matches for\u00a0Hannover 96 (2025-26)\u00a0and\u00a0FC St. Pauli (2022-24).\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Before reaching\u00a0Germany\u2019s\u00a0highest\u00a0levels\u00a0of soccer,\u00a0Saad recorded eight goals in 20 appearances for\u00a0Buxtehuder\u00a0SV,\u00a014 goals and eight assists in 35 appearances for\u00a0HSV\u00a0Barmbek-Uhlenhorst\u00a0and\u00a024 goals and 14 assists in 47 matches for\u00a0Eintracht Norderstedt in\u00a0the country\u2019s\u00a0lower divisions.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Including\u00a0the\u00a0FIFA World Cup 26\u2122, Saad has made 17 appearances for the Tunisia National Football Team, scoring three goals and registering\u00a0two assists.\u00a0Prior to playing professionally,\u00a0he\u00a0competed in\u00a0both soccer and futsal in Hamburg, Germany\u2019s youth systems.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
