We are stroller friendly, dog friendly, and welcome everyone.”

Hardy said she’s gotten some “amazing feedback” about the market lately from both festival-goers and vendors.

“They always say we are so efficient and friendly,” she explained. “(They) say it’s one of their favourite markets that they attend.”

She added a lot of vendors have been selling out of their products by the end of the one-day festival.

“Not only can you shop, but we have an area designated for our food trucks with a little food court set up to sit and eat under a few tents for shade, or to get out of the weather.”

Hardy said CAEA has some artists set to play live music at various locations.

“We book our (musicians) in January each year,” she explained. “We try to offer a variety of ages and styles for all that attend.”

For their July 25 market, Hardy said CAEA has booked two young performers, Rowan and Kartik Gawander.

“Rowan has been performing for us since she was a little one, 10-12 years old,” she said. “She is now a young lady and her career is really starting to take off.”

Hardy said Gawander will be performing for the first time.

“Kartik is part of the Surrey Arts Youth group,” she added. “He will be playing his electric piano. He is very good and worth a stop to listen.”

Hardy said there will be lots of entertainment festival-wide, including mainstay balloon twister Korki, free face painting from Jen, an additional balloon twister who will be in front of Clothesline Consignment, Mr. Bubbles wandering through the market on stilts or a unicycle, and Ted Couling creating free caricatures.

“We are looking forward to another successful market.”

Market Days runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on each festival day and is hosted in downtown Cloverdale on 176th Street between 56A Avenue and 58th Avenue. There are three market dates left in 2026: July 25, Aug. 22, and Sept. 12.

Cloverdale Market Days held its inaugural event in 2014. It’s one of the largest open-air markets in Surrey and the Lower Mainland.

For more information, including a list of scheduled entertainers, visit cloverdale-ae.ca, or find Market Days on Instagram.

Cloverdale Market Days returns July 25.
