We believe his best hockey is still ahead of him, and he&#8217;s going to play an important role in strengthening our blue line as we continue to build.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Toronto native made 78 regular-season appearances for Philadelphia in 2025-26, setting a new career-high for goals with eight and tying his NHL-best mark of 32 points. The sixth-year defenceman also chipped in two goals and two assists through 10 playoff games last season. He ranked second among D-men on the team for points last season, behind only Travis Sanheim.<\/p>\n<p>Drysdale was the sixth-overall pick in 2020 by Anaheim and spent the first 3.5 years of his career with the Ducks.
