Investigators have since confirmed that his death was a homicide.<\/p>\n<p>Police have not released the cause of death, stating that the investigation remains ongoing. Detectives believe Sidhu was not killed at the location where his body was discovered and are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death.<\/p>\n<p>The Hamilton Police Homicide Unit is working closely with Peel Regional Police, which has provided investigative support. Officers have conducted an extensive review of surveillance footage, are analyzing digital evidence, and continue interviewing witnesses to trace Sidhu&#8217;s movements before his death. Police are not yet releasing details about the vehicle believed to have been used to transport him.<\/p>\n<p>Sidhu immigrated to Canada from India in 2022 and had lived in Brampton and Halifax while working as a truck driver.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators are urging anyone who had contact with Sidhu or has information about his movements before his death to come forward.
