But just as thrilling as the action on the pitch was the first-ever halftime show, during which musical acts including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vogue.com\/article\/shakira-2026-world-cup-halftime-show-roberto-cavalli\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"text link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Shakira<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vogue.com\/article\/madonna-2026-world-cup-halftime-show\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"text link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Madonna<\/a>, BTS, and Justin Bieber took the field.<\/p>\n<p>For Bieber\u2019s appearance during the show, the singer serenaded the audience with a crooning rendition of \u201cEverything Hallelujah\u201d from his 2025 album Swag II.
