and\u00a0Their main occupation to be related to a priority sector and in one of the following five NOCs:\u00a0Cooks (63200) \u00a0Counter attendants, kitchen helpers and related support occupations (65201) \u00a0Food and beverage servers (65200) \u00a0Light duty cleaners (65310) \u00a0Program leaders and instructors in recreation, sport and fitness (54100)\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>Under exercise 3, candidates required:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A score of at least 628 points; and\u00a0Intent to practice in a regulated TEER 4 or 5 occupation.\u00a0\u00a0<br \/>\nStream 4: Exceptional talent<\/p>\n<p>A total of seven invitations were issued across one exercise under <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/quebec-skilled-worker-immigration.html#:~:text=Eligibility%20for%20Stream%204%3A%20Exceptional%20Talent,-Stream?utm_source=cicnews.com&amp;utm_medium=article&amp;utm_campaign=2026-07-14_quebec-issues-invitations-for-permanent-selection-through-pstq_77956\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">stream 4<\/a> of the PSTQ, to candidates with at least 36 months of work experience in the last five years.<\/p>\n<p>Invitations went to individuals with a positive opinion issued by a partner of the MIFI in one of the following targeted fields:<\/p>\n<p>Strategic economic sectors;<br \/>\nResearch;<br \/>\nArts; and\u00a0\u00a0Accompanying spouses (if applicable) needed a level 4 or higher in both oral skills.\u00a0Complete one-year of full-time study in the province and have one of the following Qu\u00e9bec diplomas: vocational diploma or attestation of vocational specialization, college or technical college diploma, certificate, specialized graduate diploma, minor or major, bachelor\u2019s degree, or master\u2019s degree or doctorate.\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>All candidates were required to:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Not intend to practice a regulated profession listed in the Minist\u00e8re\u2019s List of Regulated Professions;\u00a0\u00a0Demonstrate a French language proficiency of level 5 or higher in both oral skills; and\u00a0Accompanying spouses (if applicable) needed a level 4 or higher in both oral skills.\u00a0Complete education equivalent to a Qu\u00e9bec high school diploma or a two-year full-time general post-secondary program, or a full-time study program lasting at least one year that is equivalent to a qualifying Qu\u00e9bec credential.\u00a0\u00a0A qualifying Qu\u00e9bec credential includes: a vocational diploma or attestation of vocational specialization (more than 600 hours in Qu\u00e9bec), college or technical college diploma, certificate, specialized graduate diploma, minor or major, bachelor\u2019s degree, or master\u2019s degree or doctorate.\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>All candidates were required to demonstrate a French language proficiency of level 7 or higher for both oral skills, and a level 5 or higher in both written skills. Accompanying spouses (if applicable) needed a level 4 or higher in both oral skills.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>About the PSTQ<\/p>\n<p>The Skilled Worker Selection Program is Qu\u00e9bec\u2019s principal economic immigration pathway for skilled workers seeking to settle permanently in the province.<\/p>\n<p>Prospective candidates must first submit a declaration of interest through Arrima, after which their profile is entered into Qu\u00e9bec\u2019s declaration-of-interest database and assessed according to factors that support successful economic and social integration.<\/p>\n<p>The PSTQ comprises four streams, and the stream under which a candidate may be invited is determined primarily by their declared occupation and its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/noc2021.html?utm_source=cicnews.com&amp;utm_medium=article&amp;utm_campaign=2026-07-14_quebec-issues-invitations-for-permanent-selection-through-pstq_77956\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">National Occupational Classification<\/a> category.<\/p>\n<p>Qu\u00e9bec periodically invites candidates who meet specified selection criteria to apply for permanent selection.
