Happy Sunday, and welcome to a new edition of \u201cThis Week, In a Galaxy Far, Far Away<\/a>\u201c. Spain just won the World Cup, and the only reason I care is that people will not let me sleep tonight. Once again, it\u2019s been a rather quiet week on the Star Wars news front, and it seems like it will be just like this for the next weeks, if not months \u2014 save for the release of The Ninth Jedi series in August, and I guess the home release of\u00a0The Mandalorian and Grogu.<\/p>\n

Three Things That May Have Flown Casual<\/p>\n

All things The Mandalorian: Disney announced this week<\/a> details for the home release of\u00a0The Mandalorian and Grogu. It will be available to buy on digital next week, while the physical copies will come out in August. No details on the Disney Plus date yet. And we also had the announcement<\/a> of a new\u00a0LEGO Star Wars special on\u00a0The Mandalorian coming out September 2 after screening at D23<\/a> \u2014 though it seems it will just be a retelling of moments of the three TV seasons in LEGO form.
\nGaming updates: Not much here, but Steve Allison, Chief Business Officer of Saber Interactive, said this week<\/a> that\u00a0the\u00a0Knights of the Old Republic remake that was announced in 2021 may actually come out in 2028. Sure\u2026
\nPublishing updates: With less than one week to go for the San Diego Comic-Con panels, we already know<\/a> one of the major books to be revealed will be called\u00a0Star Wars: Twin Crossroads, and it will come out April 6, 2027. The third volume of\u00a0the manga adaptation of\u00a0Jedi: Fallen Order will also come out in December. On top of that, we had the announcement this week of a new nonfiction book titled\u00a0Star Wars Icons: Vader. Finally, we also have Nate\u2019s (glowing) review<\/a> for Star Wars: Legacy, the Rey and Leia book that comes out on Tuesday, July 28, and Colin\u2019s review<\/a> for\u00a0The Bad Batch: Rogue Agents #4.<\/p>\n
