Downey Jr.\u2019s Doctor Doom<\/a> definitely appears to be causing a lot of the chaos in Doomsday\u2019s first trailer, the movie seems like it\u2019s going to feature more than a few moments where different teams of heroes fight one another. Thor (Chris Hemsworth) seems to be the only person who understands that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2019\/7\/20\/20702391\/marvel-cinematic-universe-phase-5-x-men-mutants-fantastic-four-captain-marvel-2-black-panther\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">X-Men<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/movie-reviews\/711370\/fantastic-four-first-steps-review-marvel\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the Fantastic Fou<\/a>r, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/movie-reviews\/659694\/thunderbolts-review\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the (New) Avengers<\/a> need to be more focused on dealing with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2024\/8\/1\/24207907\/doctor-doom-infamous-iron-man-mcu-rdj\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">their new Latverian enemy<\/a>. And while Thor might not be able to rally the troops on his own, Steve Rogers\u2019 (Chris Evans) presence will probably bring them all together.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1044qizi _18mzr4b1 _18mzr4b0 _19wv7tc1\">The trailer makes Doomsday seem like it\u2019s going to be another humongous spectacle that puts a lot of emphasis on our nostalgia for Marvel\u2019s old X-Men movies. Marvel probably has a few more Doomsday details we won\u2019t hear about until the studio comes to San Diego Comic-Con later this week, which should get people even more hyped to see the film before it hits theaters on December 18th \u2014 the same day that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/entertainment\/963002\/paul-isnt-doin-well\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Dune: Part Three<\/a> hits theaters.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Though Robert.
