Hern\u00e1ndez plus Hart equals hilarity.<\/p>\n

Marcello Hern\u00e1ndez<\/a> and Kevin Hart, who star in the upcoming Netflix comedy \u201c72 Hours,\u201d stopped by TODAY July 20 for an interview that went off the rails when the \u201cSaturday Night Live\u201d star did an impression of the veteran comedian.<\/p>\n

Things were already a bit goofy when Sheinelle Jones asked Hern\u00e1ndez what it was like working with Hart.<\/p>\n

\u201cDo you want to see it? Should I show you?\u201d he replied. \u201cThis is what it\u2019s like to work with Kevin Hart.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hern\u00e1ndez then launched into an impression of Hart on set, telling Sheinelle to pretend to be him asking Hart for advice.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m sorry,\u201d Hern\u00e1ndez, fully in character as Hart, said, cutting her off while acting like he was on a phone call.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey gotta bring the money up!\u201d he said. \u201cMoney\u2019s gotta be up if you want me to do that. Listen, I\u2019m good. I\u2019m good, but it\u2019s gonna cost ya! I\u2019m good. I know what I\u2019m doing. Yeah, I\u2019ll be there … for a price!\u201d<\/p>\n

Sheinelle and Hart doubled over in laughter, while the TODAY crew could be heard cackling in the background.<\/p>\n

\u201cAdd a zero!\u201d Hern\u00e1ndez said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is ridiculous,\u201d Hart said in response to the impression.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, it\u2019s not,\u201d Hern\u00e1ndez fired back, while pointing out that Hart had AirPods behind him.<\/p>\n

He joked Hart had the earbuds \u201cjust in case a CEO calls and is like, \u2018We want Kevin to be the face of Froot Loops.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Sheinelle continued to howl, while the camera cut away to Al Roker, who was also doubling over in laughter.<\/p>\n

Hern\u00e1ndez finally broke character and gushed about Hart.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m grateful to work with Kevin,\u201d he said. \u201cHe\u2019s a nice guy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hart returned the kind words.<\/p>\n

\u201cI got to witness this in real time. But he is exactly what you would think that he is,\u201d he said, adding that his co-star did \u201can amazing job\u201d hosting the 2026 ESPY Awards<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Hern\u00e1ndez wasn\u2019t quite finished poking fun at Hart, teasing him about his shirt.<\/p>\n

\u201cKevin is waking up in the morning going, \u2018Which shirt should I wear? Should I wear a normal shirt, like a human being, or should I put on this weird rust-silver combo? Looks like I\u2019m golfing, but also I\u2019m the ma\u00eetre d\u2019 at a steakhouse,\u2019\u201d he joked.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy don\u2019t you ever wear socks? How about we talk about that?\u201d Hart fired back.<\/p>\n

\u201cBecause I\u2019m Dominican,\u201d Hern\u00e1ndez said.<\/p>\n

The whole interaction was just too much for Sheinelle.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t, I can\u2019t,\u201d she said as the interview drew to a close. \u201cI don\u2019t even need to say anything else.\u201d<\/p>\n

She then tossed to Al for the weather.<\/p>\n
