On July 16, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program issued 2,146 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) for provincial nomination.<\/p>\n
Among those invited were international student graduates, skilled workers in Manitoba and overseas, and French speakers.<\/p>\n
Assess your eligibility for enhanced PNP streams This selection round was the largest held by the MPNP<\/a> since September 2025, and its 14th selection round of 2026.<\/p>\n Draw details<\/p>\n This selection round saw invitations distributed across the following selection criteria, broken down under three streams and pathways:<\/p>\n Skilled Worker in Manitoba<\/a> pathway;<\/p>\n Completion of post-secondary study in Manitoba. Skilled Worker Stream \u2013 in Manitoba and Overseas<\/a>; and<\/p>\n Direct invitation by the MPNP under a strategic recruitment initiative.<\/p>\n International Education Stream \u2013 Graduate Internship<\/a> pathway.<\/p>\n Of all invitations issued in the round, roughly 92.4% were extended to candidates selected under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba pathway.<\/p>\n \tStream\/pathwaySelection criteriaLAAs issuedCut-off score<\/p>\n \tSkilled Worker in ManitobaCompletion of post-secondary study in Manitoba1,874825<\/p>\n \tFrancophone84N\/A<\/p>\n \tOccupation-specific 24N\/A<\/p>\n \tSkilled Worker Stream \u2013 in Manitoba and OverseasDirect invitation by the MPNP under a strategic recruitment initiative86N\/A<\/p>\n \tInternational Education StreamGraduate Internship Pathway78N\/A<\/p>\n Of the candidates who received LAAs in this draw, 825 declared a valid Express Entry<\/a> profile number and job seeker validation code in their Expression of Interest (EOI).<\/p>\n Skilled Worker in Manitoba<\/p>\n A total of 1,982 invitations were issued under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba pathway, with candidates invited based on meeting one of three selection categories:<\/p>\n 1) Completion of post-secondary education in Manitoba<\/p>\n To have been invited under this selection category, candidates needed to:<\/p>\n Indicate in their EOI profile that they or their spouse had graduated from a Manitoba post-secondary institution; and Completion of post-secondary education in Manitoba was the dominant selection category under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba pathway, accounting for 94.6% of invitations.\u00a0<\/p>\n Candidates must provide evidence of having completed their studies in Manitoba to apply for provincial nomination<\/a> (i.e., a diploma and transcript).<\/p>\n 2) Francophone speakers<\/p>\n To have been invited under this selection category, candidates needed to indicate in their EOI profile that:<\/p>\n Their language of communication with the MPNP was French; and 3) Occupation-based selection<\/p>\n Candidates who declared that they were currently working in one of the following three healthcare NOCs<\/a> were considered under this selection category:<\/p>\n General practitioners and family physicians (31102) The MPNP notes that candidates selected in this draw for declaring employment in a regulated occupation must be fully licensed to work in Manitoba. Provincial nomination applications may be refused if a candidate is not actually working in a regulated occupation or cannot prove they have completed the required licensing steps.<\/p>\n Skilled Worker Stream<\/p>\n Selection under this stream considered profiles submitted under the following pathways:<\/p>\n Skilled Worker in Manitoba; and Eligibility was limited to candidates whose EOI profiles showed that they had been invited through a recruitment mission or under the now-expired Temporary Public Policy to Facilitate Work Permits for Prospective Provincial Nominee Candidates<\/a> (TPP).<\/p>\n Of the recruitment missions represented in the draw, the Ethnocultural Communities initiative accounted for the highest invitation count, at 37.2%.<\/p>\n Below is a full breakdown of the 86 LAAs distributed in this draw, by strategic recruitment initiative:<\/p>\n \tStrategic recruitment initiativeLAAs issued<\/p>\n \tEmployer Services32<\/p>\n \tTemporary Public Policy to Facilitate Work Permits for Prospective Provincial Nominee Program Candidates (TPP)18<\/p>\n \tEthnocultural Communities17<\/p>\n \tFrancophone Community11<\/p>\n \tRegional Communities8<\/p>\n International Education Stream<\/p>\n A total of 78 LAAs were issued to candidates who, in their EOI profile, declared meeting the eligibility requirements for the Graduate Internship Pathway of the International Education Stream.<\/p>\n Candidates who were selected in this draw are required to provide documentation showing they meet the following criteria in order to apply for provincial nomination:<\/p>\n Completion of a master\u2019s or doctoral degree earned in Manitoba within the last three years; Why some candidates may not have received an invitation<\/p>\n The province noted that some candidates who appeared to meet the draw requirements may still not have received an LAA if:<\/p>\n Their EOI profile listed an approved third-party English or French language test, but the test identification number was missing or invalid, or the results had expired by the draw date; or
