\n\tAs Josh Horowitz points out, Matt Damon<\/a> had quite an impressive physique in The Odyssey<\/a>, specifically in the bicep region. However, the actor confessed he can\u2019t take full credit for all the times you see his muscular limbs in the film.<\/p>\n

\n\tDuring a recent interview with the Happy Sad Confused\u00a0podcast host<\/a>, Damon revealed that he actually had a female stunt double for one key scene in Christopher Nolan\u2019s epic\u00a0action fantasy film<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter thanking Horowitz for the \u201chigh praise,\u201d The Rip actor explained, \u201cWhen we did the forced perspective stuff of the Laestrygonians \u2014 I don\u2019t know if there\u2019s been a thing about how we did it \u2014 there were these stunt men who were all seven feet,\u201d he said, referring to the giant warriors in\u00a0The Odyssey.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cAnd then they got stuntmen who were under five feet, and so my double was a woman, a female stunt performer, who had the greatest arms I\u2019ve ever seen,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

\n\tDamon recalled first meeting the stunt double in the catering tent while filming and going up to hug her and thank her \u201cfor all the work she put in.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cSo there are those shots in the movie where you see these giants looming over me, and so it was almost 100 percent my arms in the movie, but you gotta give it up where it\u2019s due,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Odyssey, based on Homer\u2019s ancient Greek poem, follows King Odysseus\u2019 (Damon) dangerous voyage back to Ithaca after the Trojan War, including battles with mythical creatures, as he attempts to reunite with his wife, Penelope (Anne Hathaway), and son, Telemachus (Tom Holland). The film also stars <\/a>Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Charlize Theron,\u00a0Lupita Nyong\u2019o,\u00a0John Leguizamo<\/a>, Elliot Page,\u00a0Mia Goth, Corey Hawkins,\u00a0Jon Bernthal<\/a>,\u00a0Samantha Morton, Travis Scott and Benny Safdie.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tFollowing its July 17 release, the film scored a major box office victory<\/a>, collecting more than $264 million globally in its debut weekend.<\/p>\n
