Look, nobody in Oasis has ever been known for their agreeability. Liam Gallagher continued his longtime legacy of talking crap about other artists with his recap of this year\u2019s World Cup halftime show<\/a>, tweeting out various annoyances that plagued him. \u201cIt\u2019s a good job I\u2019ve got my spiritual socks on or that halftime entertainment could have tipped me over the edge,\u201d the Brit wrote<\/a>. The halftime show was a showcase for various world-spanning artists. There was American icon Madonna, Canadian Justin Bieber, Colombian singer Shakira, Nigeria\u2019s Burna Boy, and South Korean superstars BTS. The only one Gallagher seemed to like was Bieber. \u201cJustin rules,\u201d he said<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The halftime show, which was produced by Oasis\u2019s fellow Brit-rock band Coldplay, also featured Gustavo Dudamel conducting a children\u2019s choir singing with the Muppets. With that in mind, it makes sense that Gallagher\u2019s overall review<\/a> was it was \u201clike a bad trip.\u201d<\/p>\n

Someone replied to his critique that Oasis would have \u201csmashed it.\u201d \u201cIt\u2019s not about us well it is,\u201d Gallagher said, \u201cbut still it\u2019s absolutely insane behavior it\u2019s cuckoo with a capital K.\u201d Another person asked if he\u2019d recovered from the show, to which Gallagher replied, \u201cIt was touch n go there for 27 minutes I nearly died.\u201d Anyone holding out hope for an Oasis remix of \u201cDanceteria\u201d should not abandon hope \u2014 if Gallagher wants to work things out with Madge, then his brother Noel can make the intro<\/a>.<\/p>\n
