SAN JOSE, Calif.\u2014The San Jos\u00e9 State women\u2019s tennis team continues to build its academic trophy case this summer as the team received 2026 Division I Women\u2019s Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar-Athlete and All-Academic Team recognition.<\/p>\n
Five Spartans received Scholar-Athlete recognition \u2013 Katarina Brajovic<\/a>, Emma Fantousis<\/a>, Duru Durgun<\/a>, Soledad Fayos Capilla<\/a>, and Cristina Mateos Losada<\/a>. Durgun and Fayos Capilla earned their second honors, while the other three earned their first honor.<\/p>\n For the 15th consecutive year, San Jos\u00e9 State earned ITA All-Academic Team honors, which recognize teams with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
