{"id":817735,"date":"2026-07-22T03:14:13","date_gmt":"2026-07-22T03:14:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/817735\/"},"modified":"2026-07-22T03:14:13","modified_gmt":"2026-07-22T03:14:13","slug":"clippers-sign-7-foot-5-jamarion-sharp-to-a-two-way-contract-orange-county-register","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/817735\/","title":{"rendered":"Clippers sign 7-foot-5 Jamarion Sharp to a two-way contract \u2013 Orange County Register"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Clippers have agreed to a two-way contract with 7-foot-5 center Jamarion Sharp, his agent Scott Nicols told HoopsHype.<\/p>\n<p>Sharp, 24, was named the G League Defensive Player of the Year last season after averaging 7.0 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.8 blocked shots per game for the Texas Legends. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ocregister.com\/2026\/03\/06\/clippers-yanic-konan-niederhauser-tears-ligament-out-for-season\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">With second-year center Yanic Konan Niederhauser out until at least January after having foot surgery<\/a>, Sharp will give the Clippers added frontcourt depth alongside veteran Brook Lopez and rookie Baba Miller.<\/p>\n<p>Sharp, one of the 15 tallest Division\u00a0I college players ever, played at John A. Logan College in Illinois and Western Kentucky before finishing his collegiate career at Mississippi.<\/p>\n<p>After going undrafted in 2024, Sharp played for the Dallas Mavericks in the 2024 NBA Summer League but was waived shortly before the 2024-25 NBA season began.
