WWE superstar Logan Paul revealed he texted Triple H for a McGregor fight after the Irishman’s UFC return ended in injury.\n<\/p>\n

At UFC 329, Conor McGregor landed a flying kick on Max Holloway in the opening seconds of the first round, ending the most eagerly awaited comeback in the UFC in only 69 seconds.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The referee had to intervene to stop the bout as McGregor instantly tore his meniscus and ACL, giving Holloway the victory. For millions watching across the world, it was a disaster, but Logan Paul saw an opportunity in that.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Logan Paul Wanted to Capitalize on Conor McGregor’s UFC 329 Loss<\/p>\n

Paul revealed that he had contacted WWE management about a possible fight with McGregor soon after the injury on the latest episode of his ImPaulsive podcast with Sean O’Malley.<\/p>\n

Additionally, he mocked the former UFC double champion for his past verbal attacks on the WWE roster, including Roman Reigns.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“Something I find so funny: he definitely has roasted the WWE and WWE superstars in the past. He put out a tweet dissing Roman Reigns; the Roman Reigns tweet was recently. At the moment, Conor is doing WWE. He is incapable of fighting,” Paul said.<\/p>\n

He continued, “I don’t think WWE will let me fight anyone. I’ll be honest, I texted my boss after Conor lost. I was like, ‘Bro, Conor is cooked, do something with it. Make a bag, let me fight him. Big WWE star versus big WWE star, cause that’s what he is now. He said that he thinks he’s done.”<\/p>\n

Shortly after the fight, McGregor confirmed \u200cthat he would undergo surgery to repair his ACL and meniscus injuries. He did, however, offer some positive news regarding his return to the fans.<\/p>\n

Conor McGregor\u2019s injury and return update<\/p>\n

Since his last triumph in 2020, \u2018The Notorious\u2019 has seen a decline in his UFC career. After that, he was defeated by Dustin Poirier twice (UFC 257 and UFC 264). He also injured his leg in the UFC 264 bout.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Now, after the UFC 329 defeat, he is on a three-fight losing streak. The Irish superstar’s prime is finished, according to many critics.<\/p>\n

Fortunately for his supporters, McGregor stated that he anticipates making a comeback by the summer of 2027 and that he still has one bout remaining on his contract.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It’s interesting to note that the Irishman is glad the injury occurred rather than regretting it, since he feels it prevented him from experiencing anything “worse.”\u00a0<\/p>\n
