Soccer Quest coach Ryan Gentile expressed pride in his club\u2019s work ethic, noting many team members have been playing together for years.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cAs a coach, as a dad, I\u2019ve replayed that idea of that whistle going for weeks or months going up to it,\u201d he said. \u201cWhen it finally happened, I was just so proud.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
The celebration carried over to the podium, where the B.C. champions hoisted the Boys U14 Les Sinnott Memorial B-Cup Trophy.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cIt felt great,\u201d Julian Gentile said. \u201cI finally felt like we had done something as a team through hard work and perseverance. It felt amazing to win something of this level.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
Added coach Ryan Gentile: \u201cRelief, in a sense, that no matter what happens in the rest of their soccer careers, they\u2019ll have this to look back on and something they can be truly proud of.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
