Veteran Nollywood actress, Ngozi Nwosu, has appealed to Nigerians for financial support to raise \u20a630 million for three urgent life-saving surgeries, saying she has been hospitalised for three weeks and can no longer cope with the cost of her treatment.\n<\/p>\n
The actress made the appeal in an emotional video shared on her Instagram page on Thursday, where she pleaded with her fans, family and colleagues not to abandon her as she battles her illness.\n<\/p>\n
\u201cMy people, my fans and my family, I know that you\u2019ve not seen me in circulation for some time. I\u2019ve been hospitalised now for three weeks. Please, the thing has gone beyond my control,\u201d she said.\n<\/p>\n
A visibly emotional Nwosu added, \u201cI need your help. Don\u2019t let me die. I know that you people never forsake me\u2026 I\u2019m begging you, my fans and family, don\u2019t let me die because I am going through a lot, as in pain.\u201d<\/p>\n
The veteran actress disclosed that she has \u201clike three surgeries to go through with,\u201d urging well-wishers to contact her management if they wished to support her treatment. <\/p>\n
\u201cPlease don\u2019t let me die. If there\u2019s anything you want to do for me, please contact my management. They\u2019ll be there for you. Thank you. God bless you,\u201d she said.\n<\/p>\n
In the caption accompanying the video, Nwosu said it was difficult to publicly ask for help but that the urgency of her medical condition left her with no choice.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy fans, friends, family and colleagues, this was really hard for me to do, but I can\u2019t keep quiet anymore. I need urgent life-saving surgeries. Please don\u2019t scroll past. Share this post and support if you can,\u201d she wrote.\n<\/p>\n
She added that the \u201ctotal amount needed for all surgeries is: N30,000,000,\u201d and asked supporters to contact her legal representative or management for details.\n<\/p>\n
