Larry the Cable Guy is on the mend after a recent health scare.<\/p>\n

The comedian was hospitalized late Thursday night in Lincoln, Nebraska, and diagnosed with appendicitis by doctors, his representative told Page Six.<\/p>\n

He was discharged today and is recovering well, his rep noted, adding that he\u2019s in good spirits and feeling much better.<\/p>\n

After spending a couple days in the hospital, Larry \u2014 born Daniel Lawrence Whitney \u2014 was released Saturday and is at home and feeling much better, the outlet noted.<\/p>\n

A representative for the comedian (seen here in June 2017) said he was hospitalized late Thursday night in Lincoln, Nebraska, and diagnosed with appendicitis. Astrid Stawiarz<\/p>\n

TMZ<\/a> was the first to report the news.<\/p>\n

Appendicitis is the inflammation of the appendix, with the condition often being treated by removing the organ, according to the Mayo Clinic<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Larry is best known as a member of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour \u2014 a comedy troupe featuring Bill Engvall, Ron White and Jeff Foxworthy that toured between 2000 and 2006.<\/p>\n

They also released a documentary film in 2003 and spawned a sketch comedy TV series called \u201cBlue Collar TV,\u201d which ran from 2004 to 2006.<\/p>\n

Larry is also the voice of Mater, the beloved tow truck character from the Disney\/Pixar \u201cCars\u201d franchise, with films released in 2006, 2011 and 2017.<\/p>\n

In 2021, he competed on Season 6 of \u201cThe Masked Singer\u201d and appeared in Taylor Sheridan\u2019s massively popular series \u201cYellowstone.\u201d<\/p>\n

Larry recently opened up about the state of comedy in the current political landscape.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t worry about it,\u201d he continued. \u201cI already got a pretty good, built-in following and I got some awesome fans. You know, if I think it\u2019s funny I\u2019m going to do it and we\u2019ll see where it goes.\u201d<\/p>\n
