James McAvoy jokingly offered to return as Tumnus in future Narnia movies in a recent interview on the BIFA (British Independent Film Awards) Podcast. He said:<\/p>\n
\u201cThey are starting with the book before The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. They\u2019re doing The Magician\u2019s Nephew, so Tumnus does not appear in it. . . Listen, maybe, when they get round to The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe . . . they\u2019ll be coming back and calling. I heavily doubt it, but you never know. And in The Horse and His Boy, which I think Tumnus only really ever appears in [those two], and [that] The Horse and His Boy takes place a lot longer later, so maybe there\u2019s a shot that I could play the older Tumnus!. . . Greta, call me!\u201d <\/p>\n
McAvoy played Mr. Tumnus in the Walden Media\u2019s The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005).<\/p>\n
