On Sunday, the Toronto Blue Jays<\/a> will finish their series with the Boston Red Sox<\/a> at Fenway Park.<\/p>\n

They are coming off a 6-0 win on Saturday.<\/p>\n

That said, the two teams are tied up 1-1 heading into the finale.<\/p>\n

Ahead of Sunday\u2019s game, news came out that the Blue Jays had released multiple players from their organization.<\/p>\n

They released two players at the Double-A level.<\/p>\n

Brian Crawford of Jays Prospects wrote:<\/a> \u201cThe #BlueJays have released OF Jackson Hornung<\/a> and C Patrick Winkel from their Double-A roster according to MiLB Transactions.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Blue Jays also released a player at the Triple-A level.<\/p>\n

Ward was picked in the 12th round of the 2017 MLB Draft by the Milwaukee Brewers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 26-year-old had been with the Blue Jays\u2019 organization<\/a> since 2024.<\/p>\n

Winkel was picked<\/a> in the 9th round of the 2021 MLB Draft by the Minnesota Twins<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 26-year-old had signed with the Blue Jays over the offseason.<\/p>\n

Looking At Hornung<\/p>\n

Hornung was picked<\/a> (by the Blue Jays) in the 16th round of the 2023 MLB<\/a> Draft.<\/p>\n
