Post Malone<\/a> was forced to stop a recent concert<\/a> after performing two songs due to severe weather, with fans sharing wild footage from the moment the storm ripped in.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The 31-year-old had hit the stage in Edmonton, Canada<\/a> when lightning strikes got dangerously close to the venue and he was forced to address the crowd before he was forced to shelter.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Post Malone was only on stage for two songs before he had to postpone his Edmonton show due to wild weather. \u00a0Instagram\/@overdrive_diecast<\/p>\n

\u201cI got news in my ears\u2026 there\u2019s lightning apparently, very close, so I guess they\u2019re kicking me off the stage,\u201d Malone told the crowd.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I suppose it\u2019s a weather delay and we\u2019re gonna come back out here, but they\u2019re saying shelter in place, I guess, until they get the go-ahead.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

As Malone<\/a> spoke, strikes of lightning lit up the sky and it made the point very clear that a storm was coming.\u00a0<\/p>\n

While the show was postponed at first, with concert goers trying to find shelter in the stadium, when the storm ripped through it turned into absolute chaos.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Footage from fans at the show shared on social media<\/a> showed just how quickly things turned, with fans scrambling for cover as hail, sideways rain and wild wind ripped through the stadium.\u00a0<\/p>\n

While the concert was originally just postponed until the storm passed, organisers were forced to cancel due to the stage reportedly getting damaged.\u00a0<\/p>\n

According to fans in the crowd, the I Had Some Help hitmaker only performed two songs before he was forced off stage.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Fans were forced to shelter in place as insane rain, hail and wind hit the stadium. \u00a0Instagram\/@overdrive_diecast<\/p>\n

Fans are being offered refunds for their tickets, after the show was cancelled.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The town was hit hard, with streets flooded too.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Saturday night show was the second of two Edmonton gigs of his Big Ass Stadium Tour with Jelly Roll<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The tour continuing comes just days after he took the stage at the FIFA World Cup final closing ceremony<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Canadian shows came just days after he performed at the closing ceremony of the FIFA World Cup for 2026. \u00a0Getty Images<\/p>\n

Last week the hitmaker was joined by Swae Lee at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey as they performed the song Sunflower.<\/p>\n

Malone opened with his hit Chrome Heartbreaker, before leading into his 2018 song Wow for his three-song performance.<\/p>\n
