We scoured the web to find the absolute best bang-for-your-buck power rack that\u2019s still solid and safe, no collapsing or shaky wobbles after a few months. This cage has impressive weight capacity: the J-hooks hold up to 600 lbs, safety bars can handle 700, and the dip bars support 400. We\u2019ve had it for four months now, and it\u2019s never faltered. Honestly, I feel confident that this is probably the most affordable price you\u2019ll find for all the bells and whistles.<\/p>\n

It’s worth flagging that if you’re super tall, you may want to consider whether the height of this rack works for you. At 5’8″, I am too tall to dead-hang with straight legs from the multi-grip pull-up bar, so I have to do pull-up exercises either with bent knees, or with my legs at a slightly forward angle if I’m doing band-assisted reps.<\/p>\n

And fair warning, assembling this beast might turn into a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors to see who has to do the honors. Or, better yet, bribe a couple friends to lend a hand.
