NFL training camps are getting underway across the United States, which means it\u2019s time to take stock of the Canadians and former CFL players competing for roster spots.<\/p>\n
All 47 players are listed in alphabetical order by last name. Please note that \u2018N\u2019 denotes Nationals (ie. Canadians), \u2018A\u2019 denotes Americans, and \u2018G\u2019 denotes Globals.<\/p>\n

He has since reported to training camp, though it remains unclear if that will affect his status with the Cardinals. The six-foot-four, 316-pound blocker joined the team as a third-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft out of the University of Illinois. Adams has since played 32 regular-season games and made 16 starts, 11 of which came in 2025.<\/p>\n DB DeAundre Alford (A) \u2014 Buffalo Bills<\/p>\n CFL rights holder: None<\/p>\n The former All-CFL cornerback signed a three-year contract worth upwards of $21 million as a free agent in March. The 28-year-old spent the previous four years with the Atlanta Falcons, recording 216 total tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 37 pass knockdowns, four interceptions, 3.5 sacks, three fumble recoveries, and two forced fumbles. Alford won a Grey Cup with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 2021.<\/p>\n REC Elic Ayomanor (N) \u2014 Tennessee Titans<\/p>\n CFL rights holder: None<\/p>\n The native of Medicine Hat, Alta., was a fourth-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft and had a productive rookie season, making 41 catches for 515 yards and four touchdowns. The 23-year-old was a collegiate standout at Stanford University, where he caught 125 passes for 1,844 yards and 12 touchdowns over two seasons. Ayomanor won the Jon Cornish Trophy in 2023 and was named second-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference in 2024.<\/p>\n DL Wesley Bailey (N) \u2014 Los Angeles Rams<\/p>\n CFL rights holder: Edmonton Elks<\/p>\n The six-foot-five, 260-pound defender signed with the Rams after going unselected in the 2026 NFL Draft on a contract that reportedly includes $35,000 guaranteed. The Ottawa native split his collegiate career between Rutgers University and the University of Louisville, recording 110 total tackles, 22 tackles for loss, 15.5 sacks, six pass knockdowns, and four fumble recoveries over 48 games.<\/p>\n Photo courtesy: Chicago Bears<\/p>\n OL Theo Benedet (N) \u2014 Chicago Bears<\/p>\n CFL rights holder: B.C. Lions<\/p>\n The Toronto native, who was raised primarily in Vancouver, dressed for 16 regular-season games with the Bears in 2025 and made eight starts. This was a significant improvement for Benedet, who spent his entire rookie year on Chicago\u2019s practice roster after signing with the team as an undrafted free agent. The six-foot-seven, 305-pound blocker was a standout at the University of British Columbia, twice winning the J. P. Metras Trophy.<\/p>\n OL Matthew Bergeron (N) \u2014 Atlanta Falcons<\/p>\n CFL rights holder: None<\/p>\n The native of Victoriaville, Que., has made 49 starts with the Falcons since being selected in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft, playing 3,146 offensive snaps and recording one fumble recovery. Atlanta had one of the best offensive lines in the NFL in 2025, allowing 26 sacks and averaging 125.8 rushing yards per game. Heading into a contract year, the 2026 season will be a critical one for Bergeron.<\/p>\n RB Chase Brown (N) \u2014 Cincinnati Bengals<\/p>\n CFL rights holder: Montreal Alouettes<\/p>\n The native of London, Ont., became Cincinnati\u2019s full-time starter at running back last season and made the most of the opportunity, rushing 232 times for 1,019 yards, catching 69 passes for 437 yards, and scoring 11 touchdowns. The 26-year-old has now rushed for 2,188 yards, made 137 receptions for 953 yards, and scored 23 touchdowns since being selected in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft.<\/p>\n DL Elliott Brown (A) \u2014 Arizona Cardinals<\/p>\n CFL rights holder: None<\/p>\n The six-foot-four, 225-pound defender spent the entire 2025 season on Arizona\u2019s practice roster and will be looking to make the active roster this time around. Brown was a standout with the Edmonton Elks in 2024, when he recorded 44 defensive tackles, eight sacks, and one forced fumble to be named All-West Division. The 28-year-old was previously a collegiate standout at the University of Virginia.<\/p>\n DB Sydney Brown (N) \u2014 Atlanta Falcons<\/p>\n CFL rights holder: Toronto Argonauts<\/p>\n The 26-year-old was traded to the Falcons in March after three seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles. Brown made 86 total tackles, one tackle for loss, five pass knockdowns, two interceptions, two forced fumbles, and one touchdown over 42 regular-season games with Philadelphia, though he suffered a torn ACL late in his rookie season. The native of London, Ont., was a third-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. He is the twin brother of Bengals running back Chase Brown.<\/p>\n DB Robert Carter Jr. (A) \u2014 Indianapolis Colts<\/p>\n CFL rights holder: B.C. Lions<\/p>\n The five-foot-ten, 175-pound defender was a standout with B.C. in 2025, making 51 defensive tackles, five interceptions, one forced fumble, and one defensive touchdown to earn the team\u2019s nomination for Most Outstanding Rookie. The 23-year-old signed a three-year contract with Indianapolis in January after working out for the Colts and Denver Broncos. This is his first career NFL opportunity.<\/p>\n OL Kevin Cline (N) \u2014 Miami Dolphins<\/p>\n CFL rights holder: Winnipeg Blue Bombers<\/p>\n The six-foot-seven, 320-pound blocker was born in Boca Raton, Fla., but qualified for Canadian citizenship through his mother<\/a>, granting him entry to the 2026 CFL Draft class. Cline played six collegiate seasons at Boston College, where he made 14 starts over 44 games. The 25-year-old was the team\u2019s full-time starter at right tackle in 2025, allowing 22 quarterback pressures and five sacks, according to Pro Football Focus.<\/p>\n P Nik Constantinou (G) \u2014 Cleveland Browns<\/p>\n CFL rights holder: Hamilton Tiger-Cats<\/p>\n The 26-year-old was a standout over two seasons with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, punting 192 times for a gross average of 47.6 yards. Constantinou worked out for the Browns and New Orleans Saints following the completion of the 2025 season, but ultimately signed a one-year contract with the former. The native of Melbourne, Australia was twice named All-SEC during his collegiate career at Texas A&M.<\/p>\n DL Neville Gallimore (N) \u2014 Chicago Bears<\/p>\n CFL rights holder:\u00a0Saskatchewan Roughriders<\/p>\n The 29-year-old signed a two-year, $12 million contract with Chicago after setting all-new career-highs with the Indianapolis Colts in 2025, including 38 total tackles, four tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, and three pass knockdowns. The six-foot-two, 315-pound defender was originally a third-round pick of the Dallas Cowboys in the 2020 NFL Draft and has since dressed for 83 regular-season games with 26 starts.<\/p>\n OL Julian Good-Jones (A) \u2014 Washington Commanders<\/p>\n CFL rights holder: None<\/p>\n The native of Cedar Rapids, Ia., has been with the Commanders since 2023 and has spent most of that time on the practice roster, save for one meaningless regular-season game he played in his first year with the squad. Good-Jones played 22 regular-season games during the 2021 and 2022 seasons with the Calgary Stampeders before departing for the NFL.<\/p>\n OL Niklas Henning (N) \u2014 Las Vegas Raiders<\/p>\n CFL rights holder: Toronto Argonauts<\/p>\n The native of Milton, Ont., turned heads at the CFL Combine in Edmonton, where he ran a 4.90-second 40-yard dash at six-foot-six and 298 pounds. Henning was selected with the second overall pick in the 2026 CFL Draft by the Boatmen but ended up signing a contract with the Raiders after impressing at the team\u2019s rookie minicamp in May. The Queen\u2019s University product was a second-team U Sports All-Canadian in 2025.<\/p>\n OL Kyle Hergel (N) \u2014 Chicago Bears<\/p>\n CFL rights holder: Saskatchewan Roughriders<\/p>\n The Toronto native joined Chicago\u2019s practice roster in November and evidently impressed, as he was signed to a reserve\/futures contract for 2026. The 26-year-old originally joined the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent in 2024 and dressed for eight regular-season games with the team as a rookie. Hergel finished his collegiate career at Boston College in 2023, earning an All-Conference honourable mention.<\/p>\n DL Michael Hoecht (N) \u2014 Buffalo Bills<\/p>\n CFL rights holder:\u00a0Ottawa Redblacks<\/p>\n The 27-year-old native of Oakville, Ont., signed a three-year, $21 million contract with the Bills last offseason, though he had a disastrous year as he was suspended six games for violating the league\u2019s performance-enhancing drug policy, then suffered a torn Achilles. Over five seasons with the Rams and Bills, Hoecht has made 185 total tackles, 16 tackles for loss, 15.5 sacks, four pass knockdowns, and three forced fumbles.<\/p>\n New York Giants<\/p>\n DB Jevon Holland (N) \u2014 New York Giants<\/p>\n CFL rights holder:\u00a0None<\/p>\n The native of Coquitlam, B.C. signed a three-year, $45.3 million deal with the Giants last offseason and made 14 starts in his first year with the team, recording 63 total tackles, five pass knockdowns, and one interception. Holland was originally a second-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins. Over 74 career games, he\u00a0has made 364 total tackles, nine tackles for loss, 30 pass knockdowns, six interceptions, five sacks, five forced fumbles, and four fumble recoveries.<\/p>\n RB Chuba Hubbard (N) \u2014 Carolina Panthers<\/p>\n CFL rights holder: Calgary Stampeders<\/p>\n The 27-year-old native of Sherwood Park, Alta., signed a four-year, $33.2 million contract extension in Carolina last offseason but had a down year, making only five starts and rushing 134 times for 511 yards and one touchdown. The former fourth-round draft pick has now rushed for 3,686 yards, caught 151 passes for 972 yards, and scored 28 touchdowns over 79 regular-season games with the Panthers.<\/p>\n OL Alaric Jackson (N) \u2014 Los Angeles Rams<\/p>\n CFL rights holder: B.C. Lions<\/p>\n The native of Windsor, Ont., who was raised primarily in Detroit, Mich., has started 51 regular-season games over his five years with the Rams and ranks No. 22 among the NFL\u2019s highest-paid offensive tackles. Jackson was suspended two games in 2024 for violating the league\u2019s personal conduct policy and could be facing further supplemental discipline after he was accused of domestic battery in June<\/a>.<\/p>\n TE Theo Johnson (N) \u2014 New York Giants<\/p>\n CFL rights holder: B.C. Lions<\/p>\n The 24-year-old native of Winnipeg, Man., who was raised in Windsor, Ont., has made 26 starts for the Giants since being taken in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft. Johnson has caught 74 passes for 859 yards and six touchdowns over that span, though it appears he\u2019ll be relegated to backup duty following New York\u2019s addition of Isaiah Likely in free agency.<\/p>\n TE Rohan Jones (N) \u2014 Los Angeles Rams<\/p>\n CFL rights holder: Montreal Alouettes<\/p>\n The six-foot-two, 238-pounder signed with the Rams after going unselected in the 2026 NFL Draft. Though slightly undersized, the Montreal native was productive through each of his collegiate stops at the University of Maine, Montana State University, and the University of Arkansas, making\u00a080 receptions for 1,352 yards, returning 18 kicks for 395 yards, and scoring 21 touchdowns.<\/p>\n TE Nikola Kalinic (N) \u2014 Chicago Bears<\/p>\n CFL rights holder: None<\/p>\n The 29-year-old spent most of the 2025 season on Chicago\u2019s practice roster, though he dressed for two regular-season games and recorded three total tackles. The six-foot-four, 248-pound product of York University has been a member of the Indianapolis Colts, Los Angeles Rams, Atlanta Falcons, and Bears since a two-year stint with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, dressing for 11 regular-season NFL games.<\/p>\n TE Dalton Kincaid (N) \u2014 Buffalo Bills<\/p>\n CFL rights holder: None<\/p>\n The former first-round draft pick has made 24 starts over three seasons with the Bills, making 156 receptions for 1,692 yards and nine touchdowns. The 26-year-old earned his first Pro Bowl selection in 2025 despite reportedly playing the entire season with a torn PCL. Kincaid was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nev., but is a dual citizen of Canada.<\/p>\n DL Rene Konga (N) \u2014 Miami Dolphins<\/p>\n CFL rights holder: Ottawa Redblacks<\/p>\n The Ottawa native went unselected in the 2026 NFL Draft but signed with the Dolphins as a priority free agent on a contract that includes a reported $277,500 in guaranteed money. The six-foot-four, 298-pound defender was a standout at the University of Louisville, where he made 49 total tackles, eight tackles for loss, four sacks, and six pass knockdowns, earning a second-team All-ACC selection in 2025.<\/p>\n DB Deane Leonard (N) \u2014 Los Angeles Chargers<\/p>\n CFL rights holder: Hamilton Tiger-Cats<\/p>\n The Calgary native signed a one-year, $2 million contract extension with Los Angeles in March to return for a fifth season with the team. The 26-year-old has played 46 career regular-season games since being selected in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft, recording 46 total tackles, two tackles for loss, six pass knockdowns, and two forced fumbles.<\/p>\n LB Jesse Luketa (N) \u2014 New England Patriots<\/p>\n CFL rights holder: Ottawa Redblacks<\/p>\n The former seventh-round draft pick had a stint on the practice roster with the Rams last year but didn\u2019t see any regular-season action. The 27-year-old spent the first three seasons of his NFL career with the Arizona Cardinals and made 35 total tackles, seven tackles for loss, three sacks, and one forced fumble over 31 regular-season games. Luketa was born in Edmonton and raised primarily in Ottawa.<\/p>\n OL Giovanni Manu (N) \u2014 Detroit Lions<\/p>\n CFL rights holder: Winnipeg Blue Bombers<\/p>\n The six-foot-eight, 352-pound blocker was a fourth-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft and made his regular-season debut last year, dressing for four games. He also made one start at left tackle, though he allowed two sacks and drew a mixed review from head coach Dan Campbell<\/a>. The native of Tonga spent his adolescence in Pitt Meadows, B.C., and played collegiately at the University of British Columbia.<\/p>\n TE Tanner McLachlan (N) \u2014 San Francisco 49ers<\/p>\n CFL rights holder: Calgary Stampeders<\/p>\n The 27-year-old native of Lethbridge, Alta., was a sixth-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft and played two regular-season games as a rookie, seeing the field for 22 total snaps. The six-foot-five, 244-pounder spent parts of last season with the Los Angeles Chargers, though he did not see any regular-season action.
