\n\tLook at Gracie Abrams<\/a>\u2018 life: Shortly after the release of her third studio album, the pop star has earned her first No. 1<\/a> on the Billboard 200<\/a> with Daughter From Hell, a feat to which she reacted with astonishment in an Instagram Story.<\/p>\n

\n\tSharing Billboard\u2018s post about the milestone, Abrams wrote Sunday (July 26), \u201cWhoa thank you so much.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cthis is nuts and entirely your doing!!! Thank you,\u201d she continued, adding a red heart emoji. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe Grammy nominee\u2019s achievement comes the week after Future had the top spot on the chart with The Real Me. She first appeared on the Billboard 200 in 2023 with debut LP Good Riddance, which peaked at No. 52. The following year, she shot up to No. 2 with The Secret of Us, her breakout sophomore effort that featured top 10 hit \u201cThat\u2019s So True\u201d on the deluxe. <\/p>\n

\n\tDaughter From Hell opened with 124,000 equivalent album units in the United States in its first week, according to Luminate. Abrams is now gearing up to embark on an arena tour in support of the 16-track project, kicking off this December with dates across North America and Europe.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe\u2019re baaaaaack,\u201d she wrote on Instagram in May when she first announced<\/a> the trek. \u201cI HAVE MISSED YOU AND I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tLed by Billboard Hot 100<\/a> top 40 hit \u201cHit the Wall,\u201d Daughter From Hell finds Abrams teaming up once again with longtime collaborator Aaron Dessner. She also reunited with childhood best friend and The Secret of Us cowriter Audrey Hobert for \u201cMinibar\u201d as well as boyfriend Paul Mescal for \u201cImaginary Friend.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tOne track, \u201cDeath Wish,\u201d has sparked a lot of speculation online, especially in regards to who it may be about. But in a recent interview with Billboard<\/a>, Dessner clarified that it\u2019s \u201cdefinitely not\u201d about Taylor Swift.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt was written at a time when [Gracie] was writing about a friend\u2019s ex, being in a bad relationship,\u201d he said a few days after Daughter From Hell dropped. \u201cSo it was kind of about that person, I think. I wouldn\u2019t even actually know who that person was.\u201d<\/p>\n
