Deputy Chief Frank Barredo in an update Monday morning said police gave chase to the fleeing vehicle, but terminated their pursuit as speeds at times reached \u201cin excess of 140 km\/h, so we are dealing with quite a dangerous individual or individuals.\u201d Police discontinued their pursuit northbound on the DVP near Don Mills. Evidence at the scene showed that one single shot was fired. Police did not provide a description of the suspect; no injuries were reported.
