The two female combat sports legends have teased a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bjpenn.com\/mma-news\/cris-cyborg-justino\/cris-cyborg-and-claressa-shields-go-back-and-forth-over-future-boxing-match-beat-the-sit-out-of-her\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">potential boxing match<\/a> in recent years, including at a fan expo run-in.<\/p>\n<p>Since fight talks began, tensions between Shields and Justino escalated. As Justino prepares for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bjpenn.com\/mma-news\/cris-cyborg-justino\/cris-cyborg-justino-final-fight-vs-kayla-harrison-former-rival\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">her Mixed Martial Arts finale<\/a> next month, she\u2019s already looking ahead to other potential combat sports options, including a fight with Shields.<\/p>\n<p>If the fight comes to fruition, don\u2019t expect things between Justino and Shields to take a positive turn anytime soon.<\/p>\n<p>Claressa Shields and Cris Cyborg trade barbs as boxing fight talks reignite<\/p>\n<p>In a recent appearance on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/live\/bi1c9fDCxGc?si=NsM6blNbRr-f6SSk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">The Ariel Helwani Show<\/a>, Shields didn\u2019t hold back when asking about a potential fight against the former UFC champ.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat a bum, talking about she\u2019s offering me $2 million for a fight,\u201d Shields said of Cyborg.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCris Cyborg can\u2019t box! I beat the s\u2014 out of her, and I wasn\u2019t even trying. Didn\u2019t have a mouthpiece or anything, had some Nike shoes\u2026 I was trying to show her some boxing stuff but she wanted to get in the ring and spar. She quit in four rounds! August you\u2019re fighting 160, I\u2019m fighting 145.
