Filewich averaged 13.9 points, 10.9 rebounds and 3.1 assists in nearly 31 minutes per game, giving Domusa Teknik ISB a proven interior presence and consistent production at both ends of the court.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Winnipeg in 1998, Filewich developed through the Manitoba basketball system and starred at Vincent Massey Collegiate before beginning her U SPORTS career with the University of British Columbia Thunderbirds. She later returned home to play her final university season with the University of Winnipeg Wesmen.<\/p>\n<p>Filewich produced an exceptional 2021\u201322 season with the Wesmen, earning the Nan Copp Memorial Trophy as the U SPORTS Women\u2019s Basketball Player of the Year and first-team U SPORTS All-Canadian honours.<\/p>\n<p>Her professional career has included stops in Germany with VfL VIACTIV-AstroLadies Bochum and in Sweden with \u00d6stersund Basket.
