What started as a traffic stop led to firearm and drug-related charges for three people, including two suspects from Brampton.<\/p>\n
The incident happened on July 14 shortly after 1 p.m. when officers with the Community Street Crime Unit stopped a vehicle on Highway 527 in Thunder Bay, the OPP says.<\/p>\n
But an investigation with the Provincial Guns and Gangs unit was launched after police spoke with the driver, and say officers seized a handgun, cellphones, Canadian currency and \u201cdrug related paraphernalia.\u201d<\/p>\n
Police say the traffic stop led to three arrests and that the suspects are each facing multiple charges.<\/p>\n
Jaylen Caesar, 19, of Brampton, has been charged with<\/p>\n

Dante Forbes, 18, of Brampton has been charged with:<\/p>\n

Roseanna Kwandibens, 36, of Whitesand First Nation has been charged with:<\/p>\n

The accused are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Thunder Bay at a later date.<\/p>\n
