Chelsea could now repeat what they did with Lewis Hall a couple of years ago to offload a current Blues player.<\/p>\n

Lewis Hall<\/a>, who\u2019s a product of the Chelsea academy<\/a>, played 12 first-team games for the Blues. However, he exited Stamford Bridge to carve out a Premier League career elsewhere.<\/p>\n

In August 2023, Hall joined Newcastle United on a season-long loan from Chelsea with an obligation to buy based on performance-related criteria. The England international then completed a permanent move to St James\u2019 Park a year later.<\/p>\n

Some Chelsea insiders were upset when Hall left<\/a> to become a Newcastle player. In fairness, the 20-year-old full-back has developed into something quite special, earning two senior England caps alongside being a regular in Eddie Howe\u2019s club side.<\/p>\n

According to The Telegraph<\/a>, Chelsea have been adamant that they wouldn\u2019t send Nicolas Jackson<\/a> out on loan this summer, but their \u00a360m-plus valuation is out of reach for potential suitor, Aston Villa.<\/p>\n

It is explained that the right structure may now tempt the Blues into allowing the 24-year-old striker to leave on loan.<\/p>\n

The report says that Chelsea could consider a similar deal for Jackson to the one that took place when Hall joined Newcastle with an obligation to sign him permanently.<\/p>\n

Napoli could be set for talks with Jackson<\/a> despite rival interest from Villa and Newcastle. Regardless, the Senegal international is running out of time if he wants to secure a move before the summer window closes on 1 September.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been claimed that Chelsea would reintegrate Jackson to their squad<\/a> if the player doesn\u2019t find a new club in the next couple of weeks.<\/p>\n

Jackson would be a quality signing for most Premier League clubs, even though his time at Chelsea has split opinion. He\u2019s scored 30 goals in 81 appearances across all competitions during two seasons for the Blues, and he\u2019s definitely still got plenty of potential. Unfortunately for him, the club moved in a different direction by signing Liam Delap and Joao Pedro.<\/p>\n
