A Toronto councillor and community organization are calling on the city to put $9 million more toward expanding the Allan Gardens greenhouse complex.<\/p>\n

Canaran said the greenhouse is a \u201ccathedral of plants\u201d in a \u201cconcrete jungle,\u201d where residents can connect with neighbours and new friends.<\/p>\n
