\n\tParamount+ has dropped the first look (below) at season two of Dexter<\/a>: Resurrection, which will premiere later this year (with a specific date to be announced later), and when Michael C. Hall<\/a> returns as everyone\u2019s favorite serial killer, season two <\/a>will find his titular Dexter Morgan \u201ccaught between two killers \u2014 one notorious and the other terrorizing New York in ways no one ever anticipated \u2014 all while battling his greatest enemy yet: a midlife crisis,\u201d per the logline.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe two new killers are the Five Borough Killer, played by Dan Stevens<\/a>, and the New York Ripper, played by Brian Cox<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tSon Harrison (Jack Alcott), meanwhile, \u201ccontinues his own pursuit of justice as father and son face their darkest chapter.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe returning cast also includes Uma Thurman, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Kadia Saraf, Dominic Fumusa, Desmond Harrington and James Remar.<\/p>\n

\n\tStevens, Cox, Bokeem Woodbine and Nona Parker Johnson join the cast for season two in series regular roles. Krysten Ritter<\/a> returns in a guest starring role, with Gabriel Luna joining in a guest starring role this season as the Sleepy-Eyed Stranger.<\/a><\/p>\n

\n\tClyde Phillips<\/a> is showrunner and executive producer of the Dexter sequel series, which brought Dexter back to life <\/a>after the events of the 2021 limited series Dexter: New Blood. Prequel series Deter: Original Sin was un-renewed<\/a> after one season.<\/p>\n

\n\tSeason one of Resurrection ended with Dexter discovering a file on the New York Ripper in the vault of Leon Prater (Peter Dinklage), a serial killer enthusiast and his primary season one adversary.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe first season of Resurrection filmed across Westchester County, Long Island and all five boroughs of the city, but moves to Manhattan full time as Sunset Pier 94 Studios\u2019 first major tenant.<\/a><\/p>\n
