ROCESTER \u2013 31 July 2026 \u2013 LIV Golf recently returned to the renowned JCB Golf & Country Club for its third year, bringing with it a renewed commitment to local community impact, environmental stewardship, alongside world-class fan experiences and elite golf competition.<\/p>\n

LIV Golf UK Presented by JCB served as a key example of the impact of LIV For Good<\/a>, the League\u2019s global impact and sustainability strategy designed to drive meaningful, measurable change across three interconnected pillars: Game, Community, and Planet. To date, LIV Golf has impacted over one million youth lives through golf initiatives and educational programming around golf values, achieved 13 GEO-event certifications, and become the only golf body with an ISO 20121 certification from the British Standards Institute.<\/p>\n

Highlighted by an all-U.K. Majesticks Golf Club roster competing as the home team, LIV Golf UK Presented by JCB had a focus on youth golf participation and on-site engagement with the Majesticks\u2019 grassroots, award-winning Little Sticks programme\u2013with support from global League and Majesticks Team partner HSBC. Majesticks-led activations were accompanied by sustainability-focused event operations driven by multi-year partner and host venue, JCB.<\/p>\n

Majesticks Golf Club continues to set the standard for how our Teams can engage with their fan bases and local communities to grow the game of golf. Over the last few years, they\u2019ve proven how impactful youth engagement and accessibility to golf can have a lasting impact\u2013on and off the course.”<\/p>\n

The Majesticks\u2019 award-winning Little Sticks<\/a> programme is a grassroots golf initiative designed to \u201cunleash the potential of young people through golf\u201d via school-based initiatives. Little Sticks has now impacted over 50,000 young people and has its programming utilised in 324 schools across the U.K. An independent study showed participants had a 19.5% increase in goal-setting confidence, a 15% increase in problem-solving persistence, and a 12.3% increase in teamwork appreciation.<\/p>\n

Empowering the Next Generation<\/p>\n

At the heart of the tournament\u2019s impact efforts is a profound emphasis on youth development and education. On Thursday, Majesticks Golf Club hosted Little Sticks Day, welcoming over 600 youth and their familiesfrom Little Sticks programmes across the U.K.<\/p>\n

All four Majesticks players\u2013Co-Captains Ian Poulter and Lee Westwood, Laurie Canter and Sam Horsfield\u2013wore bespoke purple and blue kits to honour the team’s community impact. The team also provided two exclusive youth mascot experiences that brought youth fans closer to their sporting heroes, following Poulter and Westwood through their pre-round warm-up and out to the first tee for LIV Golf\u2019s signature shotgun start. The two participants then walked inside the ropes for nine holes in Thursday\u2019s marquee group, Westwood, Crushers GC Captain, Bryson DeChambeau, and Legion XIII\u2019s Tyrrell Hatton.<\/p>\n

After play concluded on Thursday, the Majesticks, Little Sticks participants, and invited guests celebrated the programme at the team\u2019s Tee Party hospitality structure with a player Q&A, a mentor appreciation segment, a preview of Little Sticks\u2019 LIV Back video<\/a>, and more.<\/p>\n

Majesticks expanded its commitment to sport and youth empowerment by hosting the Little Sticks Treasure Hunt and Financial Literacy Challenge throughout the event. Across four days, over 1000 youth completed the treasure hunt, learning key financial literacy skills while exploring the course and participating in different golf-themed activities.<\/p>\n

The three-time host venue of LIV Golf UK, JCB Golf & Country Club continues to build on a strong track record of environmental performance:<\/p>\n

Zero Waste to Landfill History: For two consecutive years, this event maintained a zero-waste track record. Waste management remained a focus in 2026 through proactive material circulation from suppliers, community donation routes, on-site compost and recycling bins, and water-bottle refill stations.Clean & Renewable Power: The U.K. event powered operational infrastructure using 100% Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) fuel in both 2024 and 2025, drastically cutting reliance on conventional diesel. In 2025, 100% HVO was paired with solar panels and advanced battery storage systems across key structures, including the media centre and merchandise store.Circularity & Eco-Transport: LIV Golf built a strong circularity story in the UK with a 75% signage and material reuse rate in 2025, significantly reducing new-print demand for the 2026 event.
