One Brampton location of a Mississauga-based shawarma restaurant chain has been closed due to owed rent payments, but could reopen when the debts are paid.<\/p>\n
Landmarx Property Management Inc. has confirmed to INsauga.com that it has terminated the lease of the Lazeez Shawarma restaurant at 12 Kennedy Road South in Brampton.<\/p>\n
A notice posted on the unit\u2019s door says Lai Sing Company Limited owes \u201c$6,545.58 plus all costs, including Bailiff Fess, locksmith, and any other fees associated with this termination.\u201d The notice was issued on July 21.<\/p>\n
A representative with Landmarx said the management company is working with the Lazeez head office to resolve the issue, and hopes that Lazeez will reopen.<\/p>\n
Attempts to contact the restaurant and the Lazeez head office were unsuccessful.<\/p>\n
