\u201cLittle Rascals\u201d alum Blake Collins had a normal job during his teenage years despite starring in dozens of commercials and a hit Hollywood movie as a kid.<\/p>\n
Collins, 41, who played Woim in the 1994 film, worked at McDonald\u2019s, where he says he was constantly recognized.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was in a Walmart,\u201d Collins told People in a recent interview<\/a>. \u201cAll my friends worked there in high school.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt was fun, but it\u2019s very awkward to be working a cash register at McDonald\u2019s; you\u2019re 15 years old, someone going like, \u2018Can I get a number one, please? Wait, I know you from somewhere. Were you in \u2018The Little Rascals?\u2019 And I\u2019m like, \u2018Yes.\u2019 And they\u2019re like, \u2018Now you work at McDonald\u2019s?\u2019 I\u2019m like, \u2018Yes.’\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThe Little Rascals\u201d stars Jordan Warkol and Blake Collins have a podcast called \u201cThe Not So Little Rascals\u201d (as seen here). The Not So Little Rascals\/YouTube<\/p>\n Collins (seen above in July 2024) revealed in a recent interview with People that he quit showbiz as a teen and got a job at McDonald\u2019s. blake_collins_dude\/instagram<\/p>\n Warkol, 39, who played Froggy in the kids\u2019 flick and now works in business development, teamed up with Collins for a podcast called \u201cThe Not So Little Rascals.\u201d<\/p>\n In one episode, they interviewed other former child actors about finances and got wildly \u201cmixed\u201d responses.<\/p>\n \u201c[We hear], \u2018My parents handled it very bad, or stole it, just straight up stole it,\u2019 in some cases,\u201d Collins shared. \u201cAnd then there\u2019s the great stories where like, \u2018Oh yeah, I got every dime. I wanted to play sports. I wanted to hang out with my friends.\u201d<\/p>\n He added that working as a child actor can be a \u201cgrind.\u201d<\/p>\n The duo have spoken to other child stars about their experiences on their podcast. I mean, we have five to seven or sometimes more auditions a week, and we spend most of our week in the back of our parents\u2019 car just waiting to get home.\u201d<\/p>\n While Collins and Warkol are using their child-star past to launch a podcast, their \u201cLittle Rascals\u201d co-star Bug Hall has chosen an unusual post-Hollywood life: living off the grid<\/a> with his family in Arkansas.<\/p>\n
