{"id":840356,"date":"2026-08-01T12:34:15","date_gmt":"2026-08-01T12:34:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/840356\/"},"modified":"2026-08-01T12:34:15","modified_gmt":"2026-08-01T12:34:15","slug":"parks-canada-enacts-fire-ban-for-grasslands-national-park-discovermoosejaw-com","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/840356\/","title":{"rendered":"Parks Canada enacts fire ban for Grasslands National Park &#8211; DiscoverMooseJaw.com"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A fire ban is now in effect throughout Grasslands National Park as Parks Canada responds to elevated fire danger conditions.<\/p>\n<p>The ban came into effect Thursday and will remain in place until further notice.<\/p>\n<p>According to Parks Canada, the restriction applies to the park&#8217;s entire East and West Blocks, including all frontcountry and backcountry campgrounds, as well as day-use areas.<\/p>\n<p>Visitors planning to camp or hike in the park are being reminded that no open fires are permitted while the ban remains in effect.
