<\/p>\nA man is wanted after a stabbing in Mississauga early Saturday morning left one person with serious injuries.<\/p>\n
Peel Regional Police said officers responded to the area of Dixie Road and Eglinton Avenue East shortly before 1:40 a.m.<\/p>\n

A victim was located and transported to a trauma centre for treatment. An update on their condition has not been released.<\/p>\n
Police have not provided additional information about the victim, including their age, whether they are male or female or their place of residence.<\/p>\n
It is also unclear whether the stabbing was targeted or if the suspect and victim were known to each other.<\/p>\n
The suspect is described as a Black man with a height of 5-foot-11. He has cornrows and speaks with a Caribbean accent. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt with red stripes and black shoes.<\/p>\n
Investigators say the suspect fled the area in a dark-coloured minivan.<\/p>\n
