He was showing some serious bruising on his thigh, though.<\/p>\n<p>That was enough to take the Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe rider out of racing at San Sebastian and in Burgos.<\/p>\n<p>Roglic was rather matter of fact about the setback, sharing simply:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNot the best scenario, but its life,eh.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/RoglicGiro.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-123109\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/RoglicGiro.jpg\" alt=\"Stage 14: Giro crosses into Slovenia for a border battle in Nova Gorica\" width=\"1600\" height=\"1067\"  \/><\/a>Roglic during the 2025 Giro d\u2019Italia. Photo: Sirotti<\/p>\n<p>He added he\u2019s still \u201cAll systems go\u201d for the upcoming Vuelta a Espania. Roglic will be chasing a fifth Vuelta win. He also has a Giro d\u2019Italia to his name.<\/p>\n<p>Roglic is the latest, and most high-profile professional to be hit by a car.
