Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark has been balling out this season and is currently averaging her best offensive output since entering the league in 2024.<\/p>\n

One of the personalities who took notice was Bayless, who recently shared his thoughts about Clark. The veteran sportscaster believes she\u2019s the face of the entire association.<\/p>\n

\u201cCaitlin Clark is becoming a problem for the WNBA \u2026 on the court,\u201d Bayless wrote. \u201cShe\u2019s starting to look like the MVP and her highest-scoring team is looking like a championship threat. Uh-oh.\u201d<\/p>\n

In 25 games this year, the former Iowa standout is averaging 21.6 points, 4.1 rebounds and 8.0 assists to maintain Indiana\u2019s grip on a playoff position as the No. 4 seed in the standings.<\/p>\n

Another reason why Bayless came out with his strong take is Clark\u2019s performance against the Portland Fire on Friday, where she finished with a triple-double of 26 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.<\/p>\n

It was her fourth career triple-double<\/a> and was the main reason why the Fever secured the 112-98 win on the road and extended their winning streak to five.<\/p>\n

Caitlin Clark reached another milestone in their game against the Seattle Storm<\/p>\n

Before their game against Portland, Clark also made history against the Seattle Storm<\/a> in their 105-95 win on Tuesday.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It was Clark\u2019s ninth career game with 30+ points and 5+ assists, making her the franchise leader in this category. She finished the game with 32 points, four rebounds and seven assists.<\/p>\n

Another record she set earlier this season was her 45-point, 10-assist explosion against the Storm on July 17, becoming the first player in league history to record a 40-point, 10-assist stat line in a single game.<\/p>\n

With this production, Clark should be a prime candidate to be one of the frontrunners to bag the MVP award this season, especially if she continues to lead her team to more wins.<\/p>\n
