FKA Twigs<\/a> has announced a new album, \u2018EUSEXUA Afterglow\u2019. Find all the details below.<\/p>\n

This weekend, the NME Godlike Genius recipient<\/a> played the final show of her summer European tour<\/a> at\u00a0the Netherlands\u2019 Lowlands Festival.<\/p>\n

During her set, she teased an upcoming new album, saying: \u201cNew music \u2013 I am full and abundant and ready to give birth. Her name is \u2018Afterglow\u2019. And my labour shall commence next month.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to a report from Stereogum<\/a>, the album is\u00a0actually called \u2018EUSEXUA Afterglow\u2019, and is reportedly an entirely new album, rather than a deluxe edition, which has previously been speculated.<\/p>\n

Last month, Twigs shared the uptempo dance-pop track \u2018Perfectly\u2019<\/a>, which is thought to also be from the new album.<\/p>\n

In\u00a0a five-star review of \u2018Eusexua\u2019<\/a>,\u00a0NME\u00a0wrote: \u201cTwigs has successfully shown that the connection of music, movement, mind, soul and body can be converted into sound, weaving these elements into a cohesive and transcendent artistic experience. She brings her own assured sense of creativity and spirituality and combines it with her ability to materialise the intangible. As the album\u2019s closing track says, \u201cYou\u2019ve one life to live, do it freely\u201d. What better note to leave it on?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Her recent European shows followed Twigs dropping out of Coachella<\/a> last minute, along with other US tour dates<\/a>, with her explaining:\u00a0\u201cI was informed that production did not fill out the correct paperwork in a timely manner for us to have our visas to come to the USA and perform.\u201d<\/p>\n

She has since told fans that one day she would explain \u201call the tea that\u2019s led to this craziness.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

The singer brought \u2018Eusexua\u2019 to London back in March, where\u00a0NME\u00a0scored the show a\u00a0four-star review<\/a>:\u00a0\u201cDancers hang chains connected to her dress to all four corners of the box and every spotlight is rigged onto her; Twigs has no choice but to bare her soul to the crowd.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo end the set with a song that expresses such spiritual suffering with some of the most magnificent vocals is truly brave; every tremble and crack in her voice is deeply felt, and it\u2019s the most connected we feel to her all night. Now that\u2019s \u2018Eusexua\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n
