Amp modelling and multi-effects specialist HeadRush<\/a> has issued a major firmware update that might just change the game for users of its Prime, Core and Flex Prime floor-based processors.<\/p>\n

The update means these three units now offer native support for Neural Amp Modeler (NAM), an open-source platform that lets users harness AI to capture and reproduce the sound of real guitar amps and gear, and direct integration with TONE3000, a free platform through which guitarists can share their tones.<\/p>\n

With these changes, Prime, Core and Flex Prime users will see a transformation in how they experiment with tone creation, allowing them to tap into a vibrant global community of musicians and sound designers to explore a vast range of tone profiles. Crucially, they are able to do this with no computer, conversion or third-party software required.<\/p>\n

The new NAM compatibility and TONE3000 integration is seamless, allowing guitarists to browse, download and play NAM captures directly from TONE3000 through HeadRush Cloud via their unit\u2019s onboard touchscreen.<\/p>\n
