A South Surrey beach has made a Top 10 list of best beaches in the entire country. <\/p>\n
New research from Spin Casino has revealed that Crescent Beach is among Canada\u2019s best beaches for the second year running.<\/p>\n
The research compared visitor ratings, reviews and mentions of the phrases \u201cbeautiful,\u201d \u201cclean,\u201d \u201cpeaceful,\u201d and \u201cromantic\u201d to find out which beaches in Canada offer the best overall experience, a Spin Casino release noted, adding it analyzed data from TripAdvisor to find 50 of the top beaches across the seven provinces with coastlines (excluding Yukon). <\/p>\n
Known for its waterfront path and a long pier for walking and fishing, Crescent Beach ranks sixth among the top beach destinations, holding its place from last year\u2019s research, the release shared.<\/p>\n
With an average rating of 4.5 stars out of five, from 589 reviews above four stars, the beach is considered one of Canada\u2019s most popular destinations for families and couples alike.<\/p>\n
It had the second-highest number of reviews nationally for \u201cromantic\u201d from guests, with people citing it as a hidden gem at sunset.<\/p>\n
Chesterman Beach in Tofino, British Columbia, continued its winning streak as Canada\u2019s top beach destination for 2026. Known for its pristine sands and Pacific Ocean views, it topped the charts with the highest number of four-star and five-star ratings on TripAdvisor with 37 per cent of the reviews describing the beach as \u2018beautiful\u2019, while also earning the top spot for \u2018romantic\u2019 mentions.<\/p>\n
Hosting the world\u2019s largest baymouth barrier dune formation, Sandbanks Provincial Park in Picton, Ont., also held its rank as second in the list, while Rathrevor Beach Provincial Park in Parksville, B.C. came in third place.<\/p>\n
\u201cCanada\u2019s beaches attract millions of visitors every year, especially during the summer months, and it\u2019s no surprise that Crescent Beach is one of the favourites,\u201d the release said. \u201cThanks to the country\u2019s average temperatures falling between a comfortable 20\u00b0 C and 25\u00b0 C, the warm waters and light coastal breezes make it an ideal time for visitors to explore the shores.
