\n\tRemember earlier this summer when Sydney Sweeney<\/a> arrived as a guest to Jeff Bezos<\/a> and Lauren Sanchez<\/a>\u2018s wedding<\/a>, and everyone was like \u2018Why?\u2019 Well, insiders revealed that not only is she allegedly eyed as the top contender to play a Bond girl, but she reportedly got a billion dollar backing from Bezos for her upcoming lingerie line. However, insiders also claim there\u2019s \u201ctension\u201d between Sanchez and Bezos now because of it.<\/p>\n

\n\tEarlier this month, Puck <\/a>dropped the bombshell that Sweeney\u2019s upcoming lingerie line<\/a> was being invested by Ben Schwerin, a partner at private equity firm, Coatue, which is in collab with Bezos and tycoon Michael Dell.<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile it was originally reported that Sanchez invested in it herself, insiders are claiming otherwise to Rob Shuter. (Shuter is a journalist and gossip columnist, who now runs his own Substack here he dishes on celebrity-based news he gets from inside sources.)<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cSydney\u2019s not that close with Jeff or Lauren,\u201d a source said to Shuter<\/a>. \u201cBut she got invited to their Venice wedding for a reason \u2014 business.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAnother insider claimed, \u201cThere\u2019s definitely some tension. Lauren didn\u2019t realize just how involved Jeff was in this. It\u2019s\u2026 awkward.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThis, plus the Bond girl news<\/a>, proves that Sweeney is getting closer to Bezos on the business side of things, but how does Sanchez feel? Well, obviously, insiders are saying different things, but are Sanchez and Sweeney even close? Nope. Insiders told Page Six <\/a>that Sweeney \u201cis not friends with either one of them,\u201d but attended the three-day festivities \u201cto pay respects to the \u2018boss,\u2019 just like in the old days of Hollywood.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tOnly time will tell how this all shakes out.<\/p>\n
