{"id":846434,"date":"2026-08-05T02:08:09","date_gmt":"2026-08-05T02:08:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/846434\/"},"modified":"2026-08-05T02:08:09","modified_gmt":"2026-08-05T02:08:09","slug":"stabbing-victim-airlifted-to-toronto-hospital-from-brampton","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/846434\/","title":{"rendered":"Stabbing victim airlifted to Toronto hospital from Brampton"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>UPDATE: Police tell INsauga.com that the victim\u2019s injuries are non-life threatening.<\/p>\n<p>The original story follows below.<\/p>\n<p>One man has been airlifted to hospital after being stabbed in Brampton.<\/p>\n<p>Peel Regional Paramedic Services confirmed to INsauga.com that one adult male was injured in an incident in the area of Queen Street West and McMurchy Avenue on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Peel Regional Police say officers were called to the area for a reported stabbing.<\/p>\n<p>The 40-year-old man was suffering from stab wounds and was rushed by ambulance to Brampton Civic Hospital. The victim was then transported by an ORNG air ambulance to a Toronto hospital.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt this time, investigators are working to determine how the injuries were sustained,\u201d a Peel police spokesperson told INsauga.com.<\/p>\n<p>Officers remain on scene and the investigation is ongoing, police say.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone with information about this incident can contact Peel Regional Police by calling 905-453-3311.
