Kevin Federline<\/a> is bringing his story to the page.<\/p>\n PEOPLE can exclusively reveal the cover of the former dancer’s forthcoming memoir You Thought You Knew<\/a>, out this fall from audio imprint Listenin. Federline previously announced the book<\/a> on Aug. 6.<\/p>\n Throughout his career, Federline, 47, has danced alongside stars like Michael Jackson<\/a>, Pink<\/a> and Destiny\u2019s Child<\/a>. But, as the book synopsis explains, his life became even more public when he married Britney Spears<\/a> in 2004. The couple, who share sons Sean Preston<\/a>, 19, and Jayden James<\/a>, 18, divorced in 2007.\n<\/p>\n The cover of ‘You Thought You Knew’ by Kevin Federline.<\/p>\n Listenin<\/p>\n The book, which also traces Federline\u2019s working class childhood and early years, \u201cexplores how he weathered the scrutiny of relentless media coverage, high-profile relationships and the painful reality of raising children under a microscope, all while trying to hold his family together,\u201d per a statement shared with PEOPLE.\n<\/p>\n The release also notes that You Thought You Knew <\/a>is the first time that Federline has spoken publicly about these topics.\n<\/p>\n \u201cThis book is extremely intimate and transparent,\u201d Federline said in the statement shared with PEOPLE. \u201cI achieved my biggest dreams, dealt with crushing heartbreak and endured constant ridicule, all while becoming the father my children needed as they experienced non stop emotional turbulence.
