{"id":847241,"date":"2026-08-05T17:56:14","date_gmt":"2026-08-05T17:56:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/847241\/"},"modified":"2026-08-05T17:56:14","modified_gmt":"2026-08-05T17:56:14","slug":"highline-brand-mushrooms-sold-in-alberta-recalled-over-possible-listeria-contamination","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/847241\/","title":{"rendered":"Highline-brand mushrooms sold in Alberta recalled over possible listeria contamination"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Health Canada has issued a recall for a brand of mushrooms sold in Alberta over potential for listeria contamination.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/recalls-rappels.canada.ca\/en\/alert-recall\/highline-brand-organic-mini-bella-mushrooms-sliced-recalled-due-listeria-monocytogenes\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">An online advisory states <\/a>the recall is for Highline\u2019s \u201cOrganic Mini Bella Mushrooms \u2013 Sliced\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The federal health agency warns that while food contaminated with listeria may not look or smell spoiled, it can still make a person sick.<\/p>\n<p>Symptoms of listeria related food poisoning can include vomiting, nausea, persistent fever, muscle aches, severe headache and neck stiffness.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"660\" height=\"413\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Highline-Organic-Bella-Mushroom-Sliced-454-g-Code.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3988331\"  \/>Code is shown for Highline \u2013 Organic Bella Mushroom Sliced.
