{"id":848254,"date":"2026-08-06T14:12:10","date_gmt":"2026-08-06T14:12:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/848254\/"},"modified":"2026-08-06T14:12:10","modified_gmt":"2026-08-06T14:12:10","slug":"opp-investigating-hit-and-run-on-hwy-410-in-brampton","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/848254\/","title":{"rendered":"OPP investigating hit and run on Hwy. 410 in Brampton"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are searching for the driver after a pedestrian was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle on a Hwy. 410 off-ramp in Brampton early Thursday morning.<\/p>\n<p>Officers with the Mississauga detachment and Peel paramedics were called to the scene just before 12:30 a.m. for reports of a person struck on the northbound 410 off-ramp to Steeles Avenue.<\/p>\n<p>Paramedics transported a female to hospital with life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n<p>The OPP says investigators are looking to \u201cidentify and speak with the driver of the vehicle that failed to remain at the scene.
