Newly acquired Toronto Blue Jays<\/a> pitcher Spencer Arrighetti<\/a> exited his rehab start with the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons in the third inning after calling for the team\u2019s trainer.<\/p>\n

Arrighetti was making his first start in the Blue Jays organization after the team picked him up in a deadline day deal with the Houston Astros<\/a> for outfielder Daulton Varsho<\/a>.<\/p>\n

After throwing a scoreless first two innings against the Norfolk Tides, Arrighetti retired Bryan Ramos<\/a> to open the third and was in the middle of facing Enrique Bradfield Jr. when he was forced to exit the game.<\/p>\n

The 26-year-old finished with a strikeout, two walks and threw 39 pitches, 19 for strikes over his abbreviated outing. <\/p>\n

The Albuquerque, New Mexico native has been on the 15-day IL since July 25 with nerve irritation in his right foot.<\/p>\n

Arrighetti started 17 games for the Astros this season, prior to the trade to Toronto, and posted a 7-5 record with a 4.60 ERA with 87 strikeouts over 88.0 innings.<\/p>\n
