The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has charged a Brampton man after investigating a series of break-ins at a Milton hobby shop.<\/p>\n
Milton Hobbies, located at 621 Main Street East, was broken into four times since May, causing property damage and the theft of about $14,000 worth of merchandise.<\/p>\n
The HRPS identified a suspect believed to be responsible for three of the break-ins.<\/p>\n
On Wednesday, August 5th, investigators executed search warrants at a residence and associated vehicle in Brampton, where they arrested a suspect and recovered multiple remote-controlled vehicles and accessories.<\/p>\n
25-year-old Sahilpreet Dhaliwal has been charged with:<\/p>\n
Break and Enter (3 Counts)
\nPossession of Property Obtained by Crime \u2013 Over $5000<\/p>\n
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing in Milton.<\/p>\n
The investigation remains ongoing and further arrests are anticipated.<\/p>\n
