Police say a Brampton boxer didn\u2019t break the law but did make an \u201cunusual\u201d request when asking an officer if he wanted to go a few rounds in a video that went viral on social media.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou can take the gloves out, I\u2019ll take the Taser out \u2013 50,000 volts of electricity,\u201d a Peel Regional Police officer says in the video, filmed on July 29, that was shared across Facebook, TikTok and Reddit.<\/p>\n
The comments were made to Brampton boxer Gregory \u201cKiller\u201d Miller and were caught on camera after the fighter asked an officer \u201ccan you box?,\u201d according to posts on Miller\u2019s social media pages.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhy are you inviting me to fight you?\u201d the officer asks, to which Miller replies, \u201cit\u2019s just sparring.\u201d<\/p>\n
A nearly eight-minute version of the video was posted on Reddit<\/a> and YouTube, while shorter cuts have appeared on Facebook and TikTok.<\/p>\n Peel police say the incident happened when officers were called to a Brampton liquor store around 7 p.m. on July 29 for reports of people loitering and drinking in public.
