RacingNews365 confirmed almost three weeks ago<\/a> that Lagrue would be leaving the team to join Red Bull.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\nThe news was made official by Mercedes last week, before Lagrue was named the director of the Red Bull Junior Programme – a position he will start in 2027.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
Red Bull’s junior team is one of the most famous in all of motorsport and up until the end of 2025, it was managed by Helmut Marko.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
But prior to the start of his new job, Lagrue took time to send a detailed farewell message on social media.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
